I can’t believe its already been a whole month since we got home from the most perfect holiday that was our honeymoon…10 days of indulgence, delicious food, amazing cocktails, blissful poolside lounging and beautiful sunsets & sunrises. I suppose it’s a good thing it still feels like yesterday I was sitting by our pool in our villa looking out across Phang Nga Bay in Thailand with cocktail in hand.
We stayed in two different resorts…on the islands of Koh Yao Yai and Koh Yao Noi, both situated in the stunning Phang Nga Bay. On Koh Yao Noi we stayed at Six Senses…where our villa and its views were amazing. The gardens all around the resort were filled with beautiful organic herbs, fruits & vegetables which were showcased in the crazy good food and cocktails that we sampled on a regular basis. One of my favourites was this tom yum martini, perfectly spiked with chilli, kaffir limes leaves and lemongrass.
Here are a few pics from our holiday…including a private island sunset picnic, a beach side bbq with a hectic chilli sauce, and some of the delicious meals we sampled at the island’s villages during our stay.
And to top it all off…a couple of glorious sunsets. What a perfect way to spend an evening….fishing for our dinner off a longtail, watching the sun set over Phang Nga Bay.
